Warranty
When you purchase an item through bol, you can expect it to be in good condition and to continue functioning as expected under normal use. However, there may be instances where you are unexpectedly dissatisfied and wish to return your item. Certain rules apply in such cases. To avoid any surprises, you can read all the relevant information and rules on this page.
Manufacturer's warranty
The manufacturer of the item you ordered may offer a manufacturer’s warranty. If a product breaks during the warranty period, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. You will not be charged for this repair or replacement. The defective product must meet the warranty conditions set by the manufacturer and must have been used under normal conditions.
Warranty terms vary by manufacturer. The packaging for your item often includes a booklet that outlines the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. You can always contact the manufacturer if you have any questions about this or wish to make a claim under the manufacturer’s warranty. Some items come with a shorter warranty or no warranty at all. Examples include “consumables” such as shampoo or diapers.
Legal warranty
Has the manufacturer’s warranty period expired, or does the defect no longer fall under the manufacturer’s warranty? In that case, the statutory warranty still applies. This warranty ensures that the item you purchased must meet the specifications promised and what you could reasonably expect. You can refer to the warranty terms and conditions set by the manufacturer. If you find that your item no longer meets these standards, please contact us. Even if the manufacturer’s warranty period has expired, this does not mean that there is no warranty coverage at all.
If the item breaks during the warranty period through no fault of your own, you may be entitled to have it repaired or replaced. You will not have to pay for this repair or replacement. Whether you are entitled to this depends on your specific situation.
Here are some things you can do.
Warranty Certificate
The warranty certificate for your item is usually the invoice or proof of purchase. In this case, it is the order confirmation for your order.
Is the item broken?
If the item breaks during the warranty period, you may be entitled to a replacement. You will not have to pay for the replacement. Whether you are entitled to this depends on your specific situation.
Within the return period
Did you order an item that was already damaged when you received it, and is the return period still open? If so, you can return the damaged item and order a new one. Returns are always free.
You can always contact us directly at rockwerchter@bol.com or stop by the Festival Shop during Rock Werchter if you’ve received a defective item. If you anticipate incurring costs or have already incurred costs (for example, when returning the item), please contact us.
